"where shu?" This is one of Carlie's favorite phrases. She LOVES shoes. Her eyes light up in the shoe aisle of Walmart and she jumps down and starts touching them all and saying, "ooooh shoooooooo!" over and over. It ends in tears as she is dragged out of the shoe aisle with nary a pair picked out for her footsies. AND she especially loves flip flops! She pulls all of mine out and toodles around the house in them. They are her favorite kind of shoe. She was thrilled when Jared got a new pair of flip flops over spring break. She borrowed them quite frequently.
So...we got her a pair of her very own flip flops. "OOOOOH COOOOOOOL!" Says Carlie. Of course they didn't have any in her size so she got a size 9 and she's a size 6 but the $2 price tag worked for me and she was clutching them in her hands with an adoring look so....unveiling her first pair of girlie flip flops:
