Wrapping up the season - Josh

Josh's team had a slow start this season but they caught on near the end and surprised us by winning a couple games in the tournament. Josh had a great time and enjoyed his teammates. Here he is rounding second then thinking better of it. I love his determined little face.


This play at catcher caught Josh completely by surprise. The runner was coming in and the ball bounced in and Josh caught it. He then held it in his hand looking at it like "oh wow! I caught the ball". Then it occurred to him that he should do something with that ball so he looked up at the runner and realized, "oh tag!" Well he tagged him alright. Right in the throat and knocked the kid on his backside. The poor kid went off crying. We felt bad for him but we were really excited Josh got a play at home.


This may be one of my favorite pics of the season.


He's watched his brother play catcher. He was the only kid on his team to turn his glove over and he really got into the squatting. His coach had to keep reminding him to back up away from the batter.
