Christmas morning - 2010

Christmas Eve - I always try to take some nice photos of the kids by the tree before they head up to bed.  Something about the calm before the chaos and messy bedhead of Christmas morning. Sweet angelic faces filled with anticipation of a fun filled Christmas morning.

Or....more realistically speaking....how crazy can we drive mom on Christmas eve by barely cooperating with her photo shoot?

Whatever!!!  Just go to bed.  QUIETLY. 

One thing I love on Christmas morning is making the kids wait on the stairs til Patrick gets the cameras ready and the tree lights on.  It is really one of the only times my kids are truly bonded for a common cause. They're all sweet and nice because they know if they aren't they don't get to move past those stairs.  Love it!

And the Mayhem of Christmas begins.  Jacob is delighted with an IPOD.  I love Jared's face in this.  HE really wanted a phone or an IPOD or heck..even a walkie talkie at this point.  He looks really happy for his brother doesn't he?

And this girl is in heaven because what more could a girl want besides puppies and ponies?  Yeah..we won't see her again the rest of the day.

Oh ok...the suspense has gone on long enough for Jared.

 Why yes...that is a new phone.  Complete with your own phone number.  No texting though...yeah..mom's a grinch.

And one of the funnest moments of Christmas morning....when they get to THAT gift that makes them all scream with giddy joy.

Josh looks like he just won the olympics or something.  Cracks me up!!!
