Our kids were excited to be invited back to the Regional Lego League contest. They worked more on their skit and added costumes.

The robot competition. We wanted the kids to do well...but not too well as we were all sick of Lego League and didn't want to get invited to go on. No problem, with the quirkiness of robotics we still ran into problems on the competition table.
Through this whole Lego ordeal Jacob and Jared became friends with Valerie..the girl helping Jacob at the robot table. I LOVED Valerie. She is the tiniest little thing with a great personality and she would get on the other kids for goofing off, in Spanish and English. She was the calm when things got messed up with the robot and could laugh off the frustrating situations. She was a good balance for these argumentative boys.
Jared just reminded me that they were on the news...for 3 seconds. He's thrilled with that......
